Candy is aptly named because she is a super sweet girl who loves everyone she meets, including cat-friendly dogs! She was found as a  thin, hungry stray in October 2010. Her estimated age is 1-2 years old. She has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $40 following a vet check and home visit of potential adopter.

Benji is a 2 year old Schnauzer-Poodle mix who was found as a very skinny stray during a rain storm. His original owner was located but did not want Benji because of his habit of running away. Benji has proven his talent as an escape artist by breaking through three barricades at his foster home in his quest to run loose. It is almost impossible to catch him when he does escape! Because of this Benji is only available for adoption to a certain type of home.
Benji is shy at first but is quite the snuggler once he gets to know someone. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $250 following a vet check and home visit of potential adopter.

Murphy
and her six litter mates were raised in a home since birth along with mom Missy. Murphy is actually quite attached to her mom Missy and would be great as a pair. Murphy is the most independent of her littermates but no less playful and sweet. Murphy is shy of loud noises and would likely not do well with young children and dogs.
Murphy has a severe allergy to the booster vaccine and was very slow to recover from anesthesia and should not undergo unnecessary surgery like declawing.

Missy
is super mom! She was found outside by an animal lover, heavily pregnant and in no time gave birth to seven kittens on 7-19-10.  She takes to new people right away and loves her belly rubbed and lots of attention. Missy has been a terrific mom and now looks to have a new life as a pampered inside pet. Missy is about one year old and a cute mix of calico and tabby. She is nervous with loud noises and thunder but is very cuddly and sweet with people. Missy is attached to her kitten Murphy and would make an excellent pair for someone looking to adopt two kitties.
Missy did not handle anesthesia well and has a severe vaccine allergy, she should not undergo unnecessary anesthesia like declawing.
